Originally created as an 8 ft × 8 ft mixed media mural, Cardinal honors the red cardinal as a symbol of endurance, courage, and civic strength. The bird stands in a poised, regal stance — embodying integrity and resilience within the public sphere.
Framed by architectural elements inspired by Miami’s Art Deco heritage and contemporary urban design, the composition bridges nature and the built environment. The proscenium-like arch situates the cardinal as both guardian and emblem — reinforcing themes of community, stewardship, and perseverance.
This collector edition translates the monumentality of the original mural into an intimate archival print format, offering a museum-quality piece rooted in public art history.
